Processor
Select the processing network on which this merchant account is established. Please note that we do not allow for the processor to be changed if there are transactions pending settlement. Those transactions will need to settle before you can update the processor in order to prevent rejected settlement.
Auto-fill Level 2/3 Data
Specify whether PayTrace should auto-fill Level 2/3 Data for this merchant's applicable transactions. Note that the auto-fill will occur during settlement on the TSYS/Vital and Paymentech networks.
Merchant Number
Must consist of exactly 12 or 15 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer in order to process transactions.
Acquirer BIN
Must consist of exactly 6 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Agent Bank Number
Must consist of exactly 6 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Agent Chain Number
Must consist of exactly 6 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Terminal ID
Must consist of exactly 8 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Terminal Number
Must consist of exactly 4 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Store Number
Must consist of exactly 4 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Time Zone
Must consist of exactly 3 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer. Time Zones are generally 705, 706, 707, or 708. Time Zone values are also used to calculate local time zone values in PayTrace reporting.
SIC / MCC
Must consist of exactly 4 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Location
Must consist of exactly 5 numeric digits as provided by your merchant acquirer on the TSYS/Vital, Heartland, and Trident networks.
Industry PayTrace
To specify the method of card acceptance that the merchant uses to process credit card transactions when it communicates with Visa, MasterCard, etc., for authorization and settlement. Select Retail if the merchant will be swiping credit card or has face-to-face contact with their customers. Select Direct Marketing if the merchant will be key-entering their customers' card information and the merchant will charge the same cards frequently. Select e-Commerce if the merchant will be using the Shopping Cart and/or will be key-entering their customers' card information.
Accepted Card Types
Must be selected based on accepted card types with your merchant acquirer. Attempting to settle card types that you are not set up to accept through your merchant acquirer will result in rejected batches.
Private Label Details
May consist of the PL BIN (first 6 digits) and name of the PL card type. These values are only applicable if the PL card type is enabled.
MagTek/Magensa
May be enabled/disabled based on whether the merchant is using an encrypted card reader from MagTek.
