Use the Edit Receipt page to modify the content of the receipts that are viewed, printed, and emailed from PayTrace.

How to Use This Page

  1. Under the Logo tab, Click 'Upload' to upload a logo for your recipts. Please note that you may only upload logos that are less than 100 kilobytes and are saved as .jpg or .gif files. Also, please only upload images that are less than 150 pixels in height and 225 pixels wide.
  2. Under the Header/Footer tab Enter up to 4 lines of Receipt Header text, 2 lines of Receipt Footer text, and a Consent Form Footer text as needed.
  3. Under the Templates tab, create a New template, or Edit/Delete a current template. Specify a Template Name, and pick the Content and Settings you wish to see on the receipts assigned with this template.
  4. Under the Printers tab, you can Manage Legacy Printer, or use supported receipt printers by selecting the Printer from your list of connected printer, providing a Nickname, and selecting the Brand/Version of printer from our supported printers list.
  5. Under the Users tab, you can assign Templates and Printers set in the previous steps to specific or all users.
  6. Under the Email tab, you can manage emails to receive specific reports.

Logo

This tab allows you to upload a logo for your receipts.

Click 'Upload' to upload your own custom logo for receipts. Please note that you may only upload logos that are less than 100 kilobytes and are saved as .jpg or .gif files. Also, please only upload images that are less than 150 pixels in height and 225 pixels wide.

Header/Footer

This tab allows you to set optional header, footer, and consent lines.

Header Text

Header Line 1
May contain up to 50 characters of text.
Header Line 2
May contain up to 50 characters of text.
Header Line 3
May contain up to 50 characters of text.
Header Line 4
May contain up to 50 characters of text.

Footer Text

Footer Line 1
May contain up to 50 characters of text.
Footer Line 2
May contain up to 50 characters of text.
Consent Form Footer Line
May contain up to 50 characters of text.

Templates

This tab allows you to create a receipt template for use with specific or all users.

Template Name

Template Name
Enter a name for your receipt template up to characters.

Content

Notes/Comments
Check box if you want to include Notes/Comments on the receipt for this template.
Customer Reference ID
Check box if you want to include Customer Reference ID on the receipt for this template.
Sales Tax
Check box if you want to include Sales Tax on the receipt for this template.
User Name
Check box if you want to include the User Name of the user that processed the transaction on the receipt for this template.
Your Phone Number
Check box if you want to include Your Phone Number on the receipt for this template.
Transaction Status
Check box if you want to include Transaction Status on the receipt for this template.
Signature Line
Check box if you want to include Signature Line on the receipt for this template.

Settings

Auto Print
Select Yes to have receipts auto print after each transaction or No to not auto print for this template.
Number of Copies
Select 1 to have one copy printed, select 2 to have two copies printed for this template.
Delay Between Copies
Select the delay in seconds you want between receipts for this template. Options are 0-10 seconds.

This tab allows you to configure supported receipt printers or manage legacy printers.

Create Printer

Printer
Allows you to select a printer from a list of connected printers. You will need to have the latest version of Java installed in order to use this printer option. Free Java Install
Optional Nickname
Provide an optional nickname for this printer up to characters.
Brand/Version
Select the brand of supported receipt printer PayTrace Supported Receipt Printers you are using.

Users

This tab allows you to assign Printers and Templates to specific or all users.

Assign Templates and Printers to Users

User Names
Once you have selected a Printer and/or Template from the Printer and/or Template drop down(s) you will have the ability to assign a Printer/Template to specific or all users. You can also choose the Select All/Select None option to select all or no users.
Templates
Once you have a template created per the Templates section previously covered, you can select the template from the drop down here and choose to assign it to users per the check boxes under the Users column.
Printers
Once you have setup a printer per the Printers section previously covered, you can select the printer from the drop down here and choose to assign it to users per the check boxes under the Users column.

Email

This tab allows you to manage emails setup on the account for reports.
