PayTrace GO Account Setup

General Setup Information

PayTrace GO is a mobile application that functions by being paired with a PayTrace Professional Account that has the API option enabled.

If the merchant will be using the API option only to communicate with PayTrace GO (i.e., they are not also connecting a web site or other 3rd party software solution to the API), then the API option can be enabled in such a way that it only works with PayTrace GO and, if it is enabled in this manner, no option fee will be charged for the API.

If the merchant would like to use an iDynamo-encrypted card reader with PayTrace GO, the MagTek/Magensa Encryption service will need to be enabled on the account. It’s also important to note that a specifically configured iDynamo needs to be used with PayTrace GO.
